Two years ago we bought our home; it was a complete fixer upper. Ever cost conscious and ready for adventure, we decided to do it ourselves. One of the most challenging and time-consuming tasks was the kitchen, in particular the cabinets. We removed all the doors, removed the former finish and sanded them down to be ready for stain. We did not like the style of the former doors so we purchased raw wood doors and stained them ourselves. These three videos chronicle the steps of prepping for staining, staining and then finishing the doors. It seemed like an easy task by with over 50 doors and drawer fronts, not to mention the cabinets themselves, it took us months!
