Hair and Emotional Breakdowns

So, I work in an office surrounded by women who all have children and most of those children are girls. Is it possible that my office full of estrogen impacted my ability to produce a male heir? I know women have powers but that would be next level!

Anyway, this morning I was sitting at my desk, minding my own business when I overheard two of the moms discussing their mornings. One mom has twin 2 year old girls and the other, a single 11 year old girl. The mother of the 11 year old was telling a story about how her daughter screamed out from the bathroom “it’s just not working”-apparently in reference to her hair. Being a human being with hair myself, and having spent years around women who also all had hair, I know what it’s like to have a bad hair day.

That said, I am not sure that I am adequately prepared for a pre-teen female bad hair day!

I imagined a scenario where my wife has left for work and I hear a similar shriek from the bathroom-what would I do? I stared blankly at my computer screen until the storytelling witness to the hair meltdown was in my office doorway saying, “look what you have to look forward to” and “just you wait” with a semi-evil grin plastered on her otherwise friendly face. Wait I cannot my friends. Girl POWER!!
